FRANKFURT BOOK FAIR 2008
The World's largest book fair celebrates its 60th birthday, and Stone Hill Foundation Publishing will be there for its third year. Managing Director Mohan G. Nair will be representing Indian publishers on a panel titled "Frankfurt and Guests–India and Germany: Literary Relations Today and Tomorrow," examining the status of German literature in India and Indian literature in Germany. Other panel participants are Akshay Pathak of the German Book Office in New Delhi, author Georg M. Oswald, and author Kiran Nagarkar. Chair will be Cornelia Zetzsche of Bayerischer Rundfunk. It is sponsored by the Goethe-Institute and German Book Office, New Delhi, and organized by the International Centre of the Frankfurt Book Fair. Stone Hill Foundation Publishing is the only publishing company in India with an active book translation program from German to English, commissioning German translators to help us produce new titles for the worldwide market in English.
